Physical fashion shows will take place in September!

It is great that digital fashion week experiences are open to everyone and accessible, but we do not think that anything can be as impressive as a real and physical fashion show. In the past months, platforms such as London Men’s Fashion Week tried to replace live shows that were canceled or postponed by publishing podcasts, short films and playlists. However, we are still looking forward to the fashion shows prepared by the designers, who come up with a different story each season, by turning the podiums into shows. While the digital trend continues for Milan and Paris Men’s Fashion Week and Couture Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week announced in September that it will meet the audience at live fashion shows. In addition, brands such as Dior, Burberry and Ermenegildo Zegna announced that they were returning to physical shows with their audience.

Making a statement for the fashion week in September, Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has announced that the Spring 2021 collections will continue as before between 28 September and 6 October. Although limited details were shared, it was stated that the fashion shows will comply with general safety and health measures. Paris Fashion Week designers, who will reorganize their guest lists and choose large spaces or outdoor venues as venue selection, will try to find the line between ‘new’ and ‘old’ normal.
